" i'm not sure yet - my sister is the creative brains behind the project lol but my mum has one that is a large felt wall hanging with little pockets that you can put little chocolates or toys in, and a bigger one for the 25th. i think it might be like that.

"Free, never remove cobwebs from your house, a week before crimbo spray them with snow spray ( from poundland ) add some red bows at intervals, and your house will look like a fairy grotto. Another top tip, if you have lots of cobwebs, you will have very few flies " thats a fib!!! i have loads of spiders in my house but had loads of flies over the summer!!!

For Halloween get the spider stuck in the middle withe few flies. Remove them for Christmas just before sprinkling with glitter.

"Always used to make paper chains as a kid, sorry of a family tradition, and kept us kids quiet fora few hours " We did this as well! We all had a carrier bag each in which to store our efforts until they were long enough to hang. And they weren't foil paper chains but the old fashioned matt sugar paper type. It really helped build up our anticipation seeing our chains grow to then end up hanging across the ceiling. Things are much glitzier now - although there seems to be a desire by many to return to old values and a more simplistic approach to the festive season.
