go for a good walk, get fresh air and exercise

make a list of all the positives you have going on

think of times that you laughed out loud at things

give the GP a call and make an appointment

asking for support is a sign of strength, nothing else

all the best

Talk it out, with anybody. Friends, strangers anyone.........it does help to just unload your mind to someone.

You're not pathetic!

You've recognised you need help, don't let it overwhelme you, go and see your doctor and be honest. Get the help you need and good luck.

There is no shame in asking for help. But not sure a swingers forum is the place. Get down to your doctors or talk to friends or family. All the best

Have you got a close friend you can talk to? I find that helps.

I have felt this way before. The "sad clown" feeling.

Watch a video with kittens being cute. Instant smile.

Definitely agree or even write it down I've found when feeling too much going on or not in best frame of mind it can help rather than bottling it up. And try to eat well and get good rests. Hope you feel better soon

life is full of ups and downs, unfortunately in a downer you become depressed, you need to talk to an understanding friend or a good doctor,as some seem to ply you with valium and of you go.you do need to talk through your down time with someone, then think positive to claw your way out of it.

been going through such feelings for almost a year now. Don't know what the cause is behind your low buddy but chin up and think off all the positives in life.

Whatever is making you low try to take it in small steps and slowly hopefully you'll come out of this ebb in life

I hope the visit to the doctor goes well tomorrow.

If you feel the urge to cry don't suppress it. Tears are there for a reason.

Having been there, you are now on the road to happier times. Do as the Dr suggests even if taking time off work is needed.

Sometimes you need to strip everything back to the core and rebuild it slowly.

Good luck and feel free to pm me if it'll help.

it does sound like depression to me, I suffered from it after the birth of my third child, I used to just sit crying and had no idea why, id even sit there asking myself...what the hell are you crying for, and I had no answer, it wont go away on its own, its nothing to be ashamed of nor does it make you pathetic, you may need help tho x

.

From someone who has been there twice, hitting rock bottom and feeling hopeless is a really tough place to be.

You won't believe it right now but you will get through it and you will be happy again.

Trust in those who are there to help you and have patience with yourself

best of luck for tomorrow .. I'm sure it took a lot of courage to make this post in the first place and also to book an appointment with the GP tomorrow .. both show a great degree of courage which holds you in very good stead. Remember to tell the truth about all the darker times and use the time effectively with your GP to convey exactly how you feel as they can help in so many ways .. but only if they are provided with the accurate information .. wishing you well for the future

you are far from pathetic , i (Suzanne) have hit a bit of a low myself and had to give in and see a doctor today. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it and certainly don't bottle it up. ((hug))

Next time you feel like crying, take yourself off somewhere private and have a cry. As well as the energy release the tears carry away the toxins that cause you to feel down. Then find some cartoons or funny movies to watch to help you laugh yourself well again.

best wishes

Slowly but getting there is better than yo yo-ing between a rapid "fix" and a big crash.

Tablets work for some (they do for me) but often not on their own. Good luck with your recovery too.

View you probably just given the best bit of advice I have read on forums for a good while

To the OP. Sometimes times are hard but look forward but remember back, if it does not break you it can only make you stronger. Whenever I feel low I go back to what I know, family and friends. I wish you all the best and for me _iews advice is well worth taking on board.
