My lad tried popcorn once at the cinema didn't like it. He had candy floss at the fair in the summer and will prob have it again next year.

Anything in moderation. X

You can get all sorts of flavours now on the supermarkets, not just sweet etc.

Yes to both although candyfloss would be monitored more closely.

We have a popcorn machine - it's a healthy snack depending on what you put on it so I have no problem with that.

West Yorkshire

Id probably avoid candy floss unless I had a good stash of hand wipes with me! Popcorn yes but theyve only had sweet popcorn once, at home I pop plain corn kernals in a pan.

Yes depending on day out.

If you constantly stop them, they'll only go after it more when older. Like a forbidden fruit.

Moderation is key.

It's not things like candy floss that does the harm as most people know it's not great for your teeth and restrict it. It's the hidden harmful sugars like in smoothies, fruit juices and dried fruits that actually do more damage because people assume its fruit so it's ok. I've a child I am aware of through work that at 4 years old has had all her teeth pulled due to decay but has never been allowed sweets or fizzy pop but brought up on smoothies and grazing on dried fruits!! Parents thought they'd been doing right for her
