Watching "Come Dine With Me" this week, with the vegetarian creating a fuss, made me wonder.

Many meat eating restaurants have vegetarian options,it seems to be expected.

However, has anyone ever been in a vegetarian restaurant that has a meat option??

yes....lol

The Pink Giraffe in Oxford (if it is still there).

Is a Chinese restaurant that used Soya and tofu to create their dishes....but...if you prefer then they'll do the dishes using beef, pork, duck chicken etc.

Well....i like to look at it that way around...but they seriously worth a visit

Me too. Plants are ignorant, they never interact with you in the same way that a nice steak jumps onto my knife when I tell it to. Boring fuckers.

That's the problem, minorities moan about their rights, but don't try and accommodate the majority. This is a good example. Another is how many white people work in India/Chines/Kebab/Thai etc so much for race discrimination, ever seen an job advert for a person to work in such places?

You have to laugh or you would go mad...

i do not think cooking a veggie meal is going to be against the meat eaters beliefs, but the other way round would be.

it is against my beliefs. We evolved to eat meat. however if i owned a restaurant but didnt cater for vegetarians i would get moaned at

yes

i have conrflakes and steak for breakfast

i just think it is annoying that meat eaters have to accomodate veggies yet veggies can snub those that choose to eat meat

I can never be a veggie as I would miss the likes of bacon and steak too much!

I eat a fair amount of vegetable, and can make meals with begetables alone.

When I BBQ for a large group of people, there is always loads of vegetables on the BBQ too, like peppers, mushrooms, aubergines and courgettes etc... And I make loads of salads and side dishes that are meat free, so that veggies are well catered for.

If I cook a BBQ and veggies complain about the fayre I always say, "Well, you're standing on the grass, down you go, plus the hedge needs a trim."
