I had my nipples pieced about 3 months ago, I have the bars in that is the original healing jewellery.

I like to go topless in clubs sometimes but I worried too now as even at home they catch on things and then hurt.

Sometimes there is a long detailing process too from fishnet or lace).

Short of wearing pasties is there anyone who can suggest ways to stop them catching... Would rings catch less?

Both mine are done and when I put bars in I find them catching on clothing. Put rings back in and no problem. Hope this helps

Rings are better but be prepared for them to always hurt when caught and them taffling up in clothes. Hench my mine was removed and now fully healed. Had them in for nearly 3 years.

I have a ring in mine. I have got bars but as you know they catch in the lace bra's and the body puff in the shower.

Had a ring in for months now and no problems. Also better for FB to pull on a little. Mine doesn't hurt at all. xx

Hello Glitterbabe,

I would say a small ring would be less likely to catch, however if you prefer a bar, use a very short one so only the balls are on show, i.e. so the bar does not protrude.

I am considering to have mine pierced but I dont know how much it hurt and what are the risks?

I mean I heard of stories they are easily infected or you might lose senses in them?

I had a bar in mine for nearly a year after having it done, and was forever catching it and it never fully healed. Swopped for a ring and have had no problems and has healed now

Thought I was going to struggle getting it in as it is a smallish ring, but with a bit of lube no probs

I don't have mine done but I with my gf to get hers done a few wks ago. It's supposedly the most painful piercing (according to the piercer). It was only a breath of pain though. After she needed lots of pressure on her nips for pain. She does saline soakings for healing. (Takes 4-5 months to heal).

It's been a few wks & she loves them. It's made her nips more sensitive. No regrets.

I have done needle play (I must say, quite lightly tho compare to hardcore) and it was sewing needles size and pierced through skin on breast area(not very deep tho) and it just felt like injection-ish kind of pain, sharp scratch kind of type. And I can deal with that easily. and I would say I got fairly high pain threshold? X

Is nipple piercing much worse? And how long would it actually take to heal before you can play with them properly? (for pulling, biting or change jewellery)

I've also done needle play, the needles used for piercing are quite a bit thicker. I found nipple piercing to be very painful but its only for a moment. It will be some time before uou want anyone biting or pulling them! The piercing can take many months to fully heal all the way through.

I have both mine pierced and sport long bars in them. I hardly ever get them caught on anything and it never hurts if I do

It's been 3 wks since my gf got them done & she's only now starting to use them for play. Her nips were a bit swollen after. ( Took a wk for the swelling to go down. )

After watching her get pierced & the after pain... Would I get it done? Absolutely!

I am still thinking of it, not 100% sure yet x but thank you for the advice x if I am about to get it done...possibly in the next month or two x

The only thing i need to find is a good place that would do them safely...(i live in Worcester if anyone read this post have been to somewhere good to do the job?)... I mean i definitely dont want them to be done somewhere not hygienic and not really qualified to do the job!

And how do you actually bought it up? Lol i mean yes they seen and heard it all...but still...you just walk in and tell them straight away that you want to book appointment have your nipples pierced?! X

Mine hurt for literally seconds, pain weren't nothing like I was lead to believe

I think it really varies from person to person. I know some women who said it was enjoyable. I've had the same nipple done twice roughly 9 years apart and it hurt a lot both times. Whereas the first time my clit hood was done it barely hurt and the second time it killed.

thats what happened to mine.

woke up with a start one morning and the ring was somehow caught on it.

oo, the paaaaain!!!!!!!

V has both of hers done, i begged her not too, but she wanted to.

she has bars in and yes, they get caught, but rings in made them go very very sore.
