You can put anything that fits up your anus (as many an A&E doctor and nurse will confirm). Whether it's a good idea or you'd want to is another matter entirely

I actually twitched at the thought as being a victim of toothpaste on my bell end mouth wash is far more......Hmmm how do it put it .....minty sharp?

There's a difference between dangerous bacteria and those that pose few or no health risks. I would expect that despite there being more bacteria in the mouth, fewer are the more potentially harmful types. Otherwise we've all been snogging at the wrong end.

I dunno about the strength of Ben's observation but in practice having worked in dentistry and endoscopy I got more infections at work in dentistry so he could well have something.

Was always getting skin infections despite same universal precautions as in endoscopy "/
