"OK, our daughter is going on holiday on monday, her luggage allowance is 15kg, she is sharing her one suitcase with her 5 year old and the case for both of them together weighs 17.5kg. the question is, will that be allowed as 2 people sharing one case or will she be charged for excess baggage ?? If the 5 year old has a paid seat on the plane they should also have 15Kg allowance - but check the booking details. If they both have a 15Kg allowance you can accumulate in one bag up to 30Kg (but the baggage allowance depending on the airline for one case might be 26Kg for example.) Basically check the airline ticket/booking confirmation. " Thanks for that... may be a bit late for checking now though, she flies early hours monday... typical kids, leave everything to the last second | |||
