Hello fellow forumites,,on xmas day this year it is 10 years since Mark's mum passed away,Any creative ideas as to how we can mark her passing would be greatly appreciated. We have been talking about lighting a few sky Lanterns for the kids to let go

Sky lanterns are extremely dangerous , how about having a flower or star put in her name?

Brighton - even Hove!

You can get lanterns that don't have wire in them. If you use wire ones, animals can get trapped in them when they fall to earth.

How about planting a cherry tree, then you can have cherry pie every year on the anniversary. Life from death.

Brighton - even Hove!

A seating bench (as opposed to a woodworking bench ) somewhere on her favourite walk with a remembrance plaque.
