Ok, so after a couple of threads recently, I have discovered many tracks that I have not heard for yonks or some bands that I have never even heard of.

I prefer rock type music but all is good.

Let music be the food of love & let it flow

Anyone know the name of the rock band (late 80's or early 90's) who had a track with the lyrics "Forget me not, forget me not, for I will still be free"

Have tried google but obviously that wasn't the name of the track.

I thought it might be Y&T, but obviously not

As I posted earlier, I have tried that, but it only comes up with The Forget Me Nots

I can sing it to you if you like though

Dartford

something by a band called Glacia came up when that line was typed in.

Try lyric, fragment, and then the line or phrase that you have. It helped me to track down a record from 1912!

Have a wank. That's a good idea. And you can sing the song as you do it.

Super rampant roger ramjet or whatever your bloody name is: I spent a while the other day doing just that, youtubing old bands. Tim Buckley singing 'song to the siren' on a monkees show. Fascinating.

I also loved 'come tomorrow' sung by Paul jones from manfred man and the girl who grabbed his hand and wouldn't let go. Innocent times. I imagine security would boot her out nowadays.

Replying to posts on your own thread might be an idea......unless, of course, you're 'busy' with my first suggestion

Even Simon Cowell might say "One of you was slightly off key, but you have great potential"

Just emailed you with who sang the song Forget Me Not....It was Bad English on their debut album...I personally preferred their second album although they weren't keen on it after having released it because of the tension between band members when they made it...but it has some classic tracks...check out..So This Is Eden....Time Stood Still and Time Alone With You.
