"Ghosts and Tarot cards and clairvoyants all that stuff ? Have you a open mind on all that or is it a load of tosh . "

Ghosts still have never been proven = bollocks and hysteria.

Tarot cards a card game, a game, turned into some mystical nonsense = bollocks for the gullible

Clairvoyants repeatedly proven to be fraudsters = bollocks for those in need and the gullible.

Other life forms out there has nevrr been proven or disproved = watch this space.

I believe there is other life out there on another planet whos medeum sized star is also approx 93 million miles away. As to what state of developement and intelligence well that could be anything. I sadly believe that we will never have themeans to travell far enough and quick enough to discover anymore life elsewhere just as other life would also have the same problem and remember the star systems are still moving away at great speed creating greater distances by the second. We will have all died off before any technology will be found to cover the vast distances of space between the stars, but its nice to know there must be other forms of life out there.

I said other life forms, not 'little green men'. And as it still has been ruled out I will keep an open mind. The rest has been disproven beyond all doubt.

just on the travelling point.

apparently, according to boffins, our next state of evolution is to become a gassious cloud, containing our intelligence, so the travelling thing would be made easier, as the payloads that would be required, once we are in space, would be minimal.

as for ghosts, see above. net level of evolution, gassious clouds.

who knows...

"I think believing in all that psuedo science is having a closed mind.due to ignoring the total lack of evidence to back it up.

"

^This

People who believe in this crap say they have an open mind but they don't, they ignore the fact that there is absolutely no proof for any of it. It is far more difficult to prove a negative, the onus should be on proving that these things do exist! Which they can't do.

Scientific logic:

Person 1 - I have a tennis ball in my hand

Person 2 - Can I see it?

Person 1 - Of course, here it is.

Person 2 - Ah yes, it's true.

Pseudo scientific/religious logic:

Person 1 - I have a tennis ball in my hand

Person 2 - Can I see it?

Person 1 - NO! AND YOU CAN'T PROVE I DONT HAVE ONE!

Scientists say that the conditions for bacterial life could be brought into being on say mars in certain areas such as beneath the surfase where the water is frozen and if bacteria had been found heading towards earth it would have been huge news not just a clipping saying a scientist says ..

Here and there

I should clarify that my last post was regarding ghosts, psychics, tarot etc.

As for alien life, the Drake equation tells us that life exists everywhere, we're just highly unlikely to ever discover it due to the enourmous distances involved.

I can't be sure but I think you've missed my point. I agree with you, evidence is required before you can accept something as being true. You can't prove a negative, so saying you can't prove god/ghosts/psychics don't exist is a ridiculous argument.

That's what I've always said.

We live in a digital age where everyone carries a camera.

Remember the one meteorite last year,it lasted less than 10 seconds but everyone knew about within the day.

Imagine if a alien craft was seen.it wouldn't be just freaks who trawl the conspiracy sites who knew about it.

I'm yet to see a report from any of the dozens of very large telescopes that watch the skies 24/7.

Don't you think that maybe it only made the news once they were certain it was going to miss. If a massive asteroid was on a collision course with earth there's no way they'd tell the general public about it, there would be mass hysteria, rioting and looting etc.

Aliens yes. Other stuff I kinda do. I think the majority are just con artists but some do have an ability. I know I've known things or felt things when things have happened before I've known what properly. I knew my uncle had died when I was sat in class in high school hours before anyone told me. I just felt it. So if I can do it others must be able too. But Aliens are a definite. We can't live in a universe so large and there not be other life forms out there.

"If a massive asteroid was on a collision course with earth there's no way they'd tell the general public about it, there would be mass hysteria, rioting and looting etc."

Too right!

Cant have the hoypoloi drinking all the fine wine and spirits in the last hours before the end of the earth!

Wouldn't be good for them!

Far better to let it all burn and everyone to be sober as the big rock hits (except us we will be paralytic because we have to deal with knowing)!

What I love about clairvoyants and their clients is there mutual respect for the very real world of market forces.Personally if someone could give me information re my future it would be difficult to put a price on it. However 30/40 pounds is the average going rate that seemingly keeps both parties happy. Some even do BOGOF offers. Fascinating to know capitalism thrives in the spiritual world. Poor old Karl, never stood a chance!

I am open minded.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I do not believe in a god in any shape or form but I believe the expanse of space must mean there is other life out there otherwise life on earth is a very strange anomaly. Also if we are alone then what is the point of it all... why does space exist at all! Is that an argument for a god... I have confused myself lol. As for 'mystics' and 'clairvoyants' I do think from my own experience that there is something in it but not sure how much plus there are a vast amount of fakes.

"I would say to the non believers try a pendulum. You can make your own a wedding ring will do with a piece of string. Ask it to give you a yes then keep it still Then ask it to give you a no. It will move in different directions x"

What? Are you telling me that a pendulum has the ability to respond? Two inanimate objects?

Lol most amusing

Foucault's pendulum yes..string needs to be 40/100 feet in length though..proves the rotation of the earth, but not to be asked yes or no!

I heard that too...

Seems they chop them up and make salami with them, then return the unfortunates as ladyboys (after a good anal probing)...

Enjoy your trip

Ghosts , Tarot Cards and Clarevoyance are as believable as A bearded man in the sky being in control of the Earth.

The thing with UFOs is that most can be explained as helicopters, planes, and even those bloody Chinese lanterns.

Thing is, I know for sure I have seen things, in daylight and at night, that I couldn't say what it was.

Technically, they'd be classed as a UFO. BUT I don't think they were of alien origin.

And as for people having a camera in their pocket, have you ever tried to record something at a great height on your phone? Unless you have that new Samsung with 10x optical zoom you're not gonna get a good picture
