1000 ways to die,

No one really wants to exit this world too soon, but if you did go how would you want it to happen? In your sleep in old age, or some kind of blaze of glory?

My friends say I'll be buried in my car as no one will be able to cut me out of the wreck. Personally I'd rather go out like red dwarfs Dave Lister, at the ripe old age of 181, choking while trying to take a bra off with my teeth.

What about you?

The land of grey peas and bacon

Ok as much as death is upon us....I really don't want to think how I am going...however I hope that it's quick and painless...

In a perfect world I would like to die in my sleep, to avoid pain and causing upset to others.

Running with Monkeys

My grandma passed away peacefully in her sleep, unlike the kids screaming in the back of her car!!!

Jokes aside I seem to think I may be killed by a truck... I have no idea why but it's something I've felt since I can remember

Stafford

Let me die a youngman's death

not a clean and inbetween

the sheets holywater death

not a famous-last-words

peaceful out of breath death

When I'm 73

and in constant good tumour

may I be mown down at dawn

by a bright red sports car

on my way home

from an allnight party

Or when I'm 91

with silver hair

and sitting in a barber's chair

may rival gangsters

with hamfisted tommyguns burst in

and give me a short back and insides

Or when I'm 104

and banned from the Cavern

may my mistress

catching me in bed with her daughter

and fearing for her son

cut me up into little pieces

and throw away every piece but one

Let me die a youngman's death

not a free from sin tiptoe in

candle wax and waning death

not a curtains drawn by angels borne

'what a nice way to go' death

Thank you Roger McGough

I'd like it to be peaceful in my old age, but with my track record it's likely to be doing something monumentally stupid, had one or two close calls already

Need to know basis

I will die knowing I have lived my life to the full, not missed an opportunity to enjoy myself, having been good to my fellow humans and probably having the best sex ever with you OP!

the worst one would be mountain biking, came of at high speed head first into a lump of concrete, no helmet, split my head down to the skull and flat lined in the ambulance, not a nice experience

with the close shaves I've had through stupidity, I'm going to have one of those deaths that make the Darwin award.

ah well as long as the punchlines are funny at my funeral and on my headstone I don't care

Without fear or regret doing something worth while like saving another.

Or as Dave Lister said " im goin out the same way i came in. Kicking and screaming. If Death comes near me, i'm gonna rip his nipples off"

Would have to be an adrenaline fuelled exit - plane crash , car crash ....natural disaster even . Just can't picture myself dying of old age but knowing my luck that's exactly what will happen ...lol

Not bothered by the method so much as there are very very few 'painless' ways to go.

What worries me most is having a sudden and unexpected death - without the chance to say goodbye or tidy up any affairs (or hide the porn stash/internet history, lol). It scares me to think that someone can be driving home, planning what to have for dinner/do that evening then 10 seconds later you are dying in a wreck. 10 seconds previously the world was good and you were going to live to 85 surrounded by grandkids etc

Google 'dumb ways to die' for a wonderfully charming song (really!) about this!!!!

Surely a sudden / unexpected death is better than a slow lingering death?

I would prefer mind that bus, what bus?, SPLAT than gasping away like a fish out of water

Fighting ninjas (or robots, or robot ninjas) in the moonlight, and after that an atomic bomb goes off, and as the blast is about to turn me into ash, right at that moment a meteorite comes down and destroys the planet.

That's what I want. I just needed to think of what song I'll go out to

But if we said that you are going to die today, this saturday (could easily happen if you are in a car today) who would you want to say goodbye to? Imagine not beung able to say it.

On a marginally brighter note;

Oh shit, ever forgot what you were meant to post, anyone?

It was something to do with barbeques n stuff ........cremation, yeah, that's it; on Nepal's Sun Kosi river - white water rafters don't die - they end up in a hole - bit ultimately on a BBQ!

morning peeps
