Where to start looking about going into home schooling?

Any help and advice much appreciated

check with the school what exam board for each subject they use, google the curriculum and course specification because that will tell you what you need to cover, BBC Bitesize can help but only to a pass grade I imagine, think about getting a private tutor in, the local authority will want to check up once a year, keep to 9 till 3pm and try and follow school hours and hour lessons, treat it like school but at home, it will take time and commitment, make a proper place and make sure your learning environment is conducive to learning, ie. no TV on in the background! make sure lessons are varied and don't reply on worksheets, do practical stuff too, set targets and re_iew them, get in contact with other people who are home schooling.
