Just having a fish finger sandwich, a favourite of mine when I was a kid. What was your childhood favourite meal, and do you still indulge now?

Is there any other way to eat one?

Ooooooooo poached eggs on toast mmmmmmm yummy

Or still one of my favourites, pitta breads with melted cheese inside (done under a grill so it toasts - microwaves are hopeless)

Never had waffles when I was a kid

Ma mam died when I was 6 so ma dad did his best. To be fair he wasn't a bad cook apart from his dumplings which Admiral Nelson could have utilized in the Battle of Trafalgar or his pastry which could have tested even the most sturdy of pneumatic drills

Love eggy bread. Mam used to get uncut bread cut a thick slice cut a square out of the middle and put an egg in it fry it on both sides. Mmmm fond memories.

Pitta bread if you've not got any poppadoms cut into small triangles and quick fry with a curry delicious. Mmm.
