You'd have to go a long way to better the duelling guitars in the Yardbirds "Happenings ten years time ago".

Dum-de-dum, diddle-iddle-iddle-iddley. Fantastic. Jimmy Paige and Jeff Beck before it all went tits up.

And as much as I love the cult she sells sanctuary or the blue oyster cult don't fear the reaper .

Pearl jams Jeremy for touching my soul or guns and roses and there paradise city for taking me back to better younger day and nirvana for there raw sound of life.

I have to say lynyrd skynyrd free bird is with out a doult in my mind the greatest single song and guitar riff of all time .

That's not my playlist. That's everything from 2 people's iTunes over about 5 years including some very questionable shite! I can't plug my phone into my laptop to change it coz it's broken! Trust me those songs never get played!! EVER!

""Smoke on the water" by Deep Purple.Classic rock riff.

dum dum dum........dum dum dudum......dum dum dum dumdum"

I hate to be pedantic (actually i'm loving it, i lied) but the riff was stolen from Rick Nelson. Check out his 1960 (!) cut of "Summertime". You might be surprised.
