We get board with the same old thing with email addy in and playphone no. They just all seem the same. Go for something wacky as if it makes someone smile they will more than likely reply.

Imaginative is whatever makes the reader smile and think, "Yup, they're worth getting to know." There's no secret formula to it as each person is different and one person's tick is another's tock. The recipient simply takes all the 'imaginative' responses they receive and sifts through them until one - or two - jump out at them. The sender could be unlucky with one person/couple they've messaged but strike it rich sending the same message to another couple, which, incidentally, is not imaginative.

To put oneself higher up the % scale of success one must study the profile of the person you're messaging, not just read the profile, but look at where they're from, take note of the photos - Is it a posh house? Does she dress well? Are the photos taken in the bedroom or in other locations? Are there outdoors shots?

Also, read the text and see precisely what it is they are asking for and if you don't fit their criteria - don't message them, no matter how much you fancy them.

Ask yourself this: If you received a message from someone who had obviously read your profile thoroughly, met with all your criteria for a playmate and composed a message that was clearly drafted with just you in mind.... would your interest in that person be piqued enough to mail them back?

A world of my own

Its very obvious that all the 'Hi you look sexy', 'Wanna fuck' and 'Fancy some fun tonight?' messages just don't get a responce. An interesting and different message that shows a persons level of intelligence, their sense of humour and proof that thay have actually paid attention to your profile is what I'm sure most people want to recieve and these are the kind of messages are most likely get a reply.

fair enough, a glance at your profile shows you have a profile that can be read in a short space of time, many womens profiles are miles long, they expect men to read this and have an imaginative message well fuck that what makes them so special, as a couple i dont have a insanely long profile and i dont mind if i get a wink or a friend invite or a message, ill look at the sender and reply if i like their profile.

All this single women looking for 'imaginative' messages is a joke, they just want to see stupid men grovel after them because basically they will do anything for a shag.

so if a gorgeous hunky man sends a woman a short polite message asking her to check out his profile, so if she ignores that person then more the fool her, why does the man need to prove how imaginative he can be in order to get any attention.

maybe once women make their profile a reasonable length then they can expect a man to actually read it all.

rant over

My profile is long because I'm looking for a specific kind of playmate.

I thought, silly me, it would be in both parties best interest.

I might as well have left it blank for all the attention men pay to it, I get messages to meet every day and the first sentence is "I'm not meeting as have enough playmates".

If I with my "niche" taste gets bombarded I can only imagine what women with broader taste and appeal get, so I don't think it's unreasonable if they ask would be playmates to be imaginative or for those responding they are one of hundreds therefore need to stand out.

I got talking to someone I wouldn't have responded to simply on his opening message: he asked if I was enacting El Greco's Burial of the Count Ortaz in my profile picture: funny and clever I thought compared to the charmer who asked why I had elephant legs as an avitar!

listen to gordon ramsey, keep the menu short, all this long profile is boring to read and would put most people off and what if 100 people write an imaginative message, you aint gonna meet them all so many people have went to all that bother to be ignored or told no thanks after all the bother they went to.

Aah...and therein lies the rub: what appeals to one won't to another!

I preferred the El Greco appealed to my sense of humour!

El Greco, Spanish painter. One of his famous paintings is entitled Burial of the Count Ortaz. On the ceiling above the death scene are disjointed legs...hence the reference.
