Where i live we have a large wild life park over looking the river and this is where many benches have been placed displaying various memorials to the people who lived here !!

I was walking up through there today and i said to my son that i would like bench as a memorial to me and he was thinking about what to write Hmmmmmm. His words were " This is for Mrs x x whom had people on her all her life, therefore i decided that she would that in the afterlife as well"

Just charming

There's was one up there that i want to share with you all and it did make me laugh ( I am sorry if this comes over as disrespectful it is not mean't that way)

"My son xx died on his Motorbike with the sun in his eyes and smile on his face"

Now i can't help thinking that maybe the smile would have been replaced with "F**K this is going to hurt"

If you was to have a memorial bench, what would your inscription be ??

Probably "In memory of ... She hated this park and everyone in it!"

or something deeper...

"... Finally certified insane after trying to patent tap shoes for rabbits but this was followed by a successful political career in UKIP. Died snipping loud earphones on public transport while screaming 'you aint got no couth' to each unwitting owner. This moment of perfect happiness is the suspected cause of death."

I saw one on a church seat a while ago.. "God have mercy on John Smith. At peace with God from his wife and children"

Punctuation matters!

In rhyl near splash point there is square with about 4 benches on, each one is dedicated to a different member of the same family. Was quite a nice thing to see.
