I agree. My mate's daughter did it for a year and made a ridiculous amount of cash.Good for her.

There's a gaggle of them inhabit my afternoon coffee break venue. Mostly eastern European and they're nobodies fools.

Demeaning? I doubt they see it that way.

I'm sure they don't. Just wondered why "feminists" are so against them really.

No they are not demeaning to women, quite the reverse in my opinion. A female friend worked at a club and earned very good money doing so. Her attitude was if men (or women) are willing to pay to watch but not touch, then that was fine. However she did say that in private booths touching and other stuff, did occasionally happen. It was the lap dancers choice though and nobody was exploited.

There's a strange logic to some feminists which insists women should have the freedom to do anything they wish - so long as its something feminists approve of.

The last lap dancing club I was in was in Hackney Rd, London about 5 years ago and the lasting memory is of a group of guys whose sole job seemed to be to 'encourage' punters to pay extra for private dances.

Personally I don't enjoy them. Too much sit there looking and no touching and paying over inflated prices for drinks. I don't see the attraction but each to their own.

My ex husband, during one of our divorce hearings whilst representing himself, handed a letter from Spearmint Rhinos to the Judge which stated that in a period of 6 weeks he had spent £5k in the club. He was trying to prove where his money had gone. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry, or cringe!

My brother owns a lap dancing club and in my opinion they're rubbish. Fair play to the girls tho, if men are stupid enough to pay to see a little bit of flesh why not cash in.

I used to.

But only because my mates went.

I couldn't give two tosses to be honest.

My girlfriend at the time was good enough.

I have visited lap dancing clubs a few times, mainly on friends stag parties for a bit of fun. I also have a friend who is a lap dancer and she earns huge amounts of money doing it, much more than she would earn doing a "normal" 9 to 5 job, so more power to them i say.

They're fucking awsome. And why deameaning?? You're sitting on the fence there. Either go to one or not. The lass' are always in control and protected. Well, the places I've been to they are!

And if they're not it ain't a lap dancing club.

"Would love to go to one to see what the fuss is all about. "

Go - if you are an admirer of the female form in motio you'll love it. Some of the dancers are very talented in the ones we've been to - we've been a couple of times with swinging and non swinging friends.

Angel loves them and the girls are very attentive towards female customers...to the point where we had two or three girls sat with us discussing 'real life' things...as well as Angels clevage...

The lap dancing left Angel a little flustered to say the least!

They are not demeaning to women at all if you go to the well known ones - back street seedy ones that offer 'extras' may be different though, so steer clear of those!

xxx
