I'm on the depo injection, as a result I rarely have periods.

Tonight my friend was supposed to be coming to play and I have just started my first period in about 6 months!!! Not only that, I have eaten something that has disagreed with me.

A) I feel guilty at having to let him down as I hate letting people down, hope he forgives me.

B) I was fucking horny as hell this morning.

Going to lay in bed and sulk all night.

I've been on it just over 2 years and I'm the same. Had some spotting a few days ago. That best be it coz I have plans this weekend. And I NEVER have plans!!

He is one of the good guys so will probably understands, he seems to understand me quite well when it comes to my inexperience

I'm not bleeding heavily Hottie, but think I might if I have sex. It's a little heavier than spotting You should be ok because usually I only bleed for 24 hours since I've been on the depo, think it is called sods law.

Serendipity obviously has taken leave. But perhaps you can work around it, turn it into a non-penetrative sensual session. Oil, scent, mmmm. Your body has many more erogenous zones. Enjoy

I've been on the implant for a couple of months and it agrees with me a lot more. How long ago did you have your last injection? It's a big shot and gradually disperses into your system. This means that the closer to the next shot you get the less you have in your system and the more likely you are to have periods. I know this would happened with me. Also (as someone whose weight fluctuates) I know the heavier I was the more likely I would have periods.

Didn't think of that but the issue is, I feel dirty at that time of the month as like to be nice and fresh. Probably to do with my hormones more than anything. X

I have put on 2lbs but it might be bloating, my next injection is fairly soon I think.

Been on the depo 4 years now, I do notice a pattern with putting a lb or 2 on and if I'm coming up to my next injection.

I also bleed if I have been ill, which I find odd. Upset tummy can set me off.

Talk to him, he might not mind and you will still have fun.

It has happened to me before and my playmate was totally cool with it. Had a great time even though i asked him not to go down on me.

Im on the depo, (touching wood here), ive only had a tiny bleed for not even a whole day and ive been on it for a good while now. This is horrible though as you have something arranged, mother nature is horrible. Time of the month is a grubby feeling, but if he still wants to see you for a social, have a nice bubble bath. I know when I had visits from Mother N. I had lots of baths, also helped with stomach cramps etc. Hope you enjoy either way.

I can't have the injection and implant hasn't stopped my periods. but found the sponge tampons are great for this time.. no interference at all.

I am squeamish, the idea of something in my arm freaks me out my friend has the implant and I couldn't even look at it
