Well according to the rumour mill, BBM will be released for Android and IOS this weekend.

Do you think they are a bit too late to the party or will this be your messenger of choice?

To be honest I think they missed the boat and are doggy paddling to catch up.

I was looking for a cross-platform app nearly 2 years ago that was cheaper than texting and had the same kind of functionality as BBM and Facetime.... guess what I found... "Whatsapp" Even Blackberry and Iphone die hards use it

I know can you imagine anything worse than actually picking up a telephone and hearing someone's voice as oppose to reading their thoughts/news in b&w
