A Swedish food watchdog has confirmed reports that a secretion from a Beaver's arsehole, castoreum, IS used as a natural vanillaesque flavouring in foodstuffs.

So, the next time you think about eating some beaver, think twice.

Mind you, it does give some legitimacy to the old saying "What you don't know doesn't hurt you".
