why do compulsive liars not keep track of their lies??

met a guy ages ago claimed he was single was just a social meet but i had feelin he was tellin porkies so never bothered seeing him again as liars and marrieds not my thing anyway loads o msgs later why wont u meet me blah blah told him why he accuses me of bein married cause invoice on my car floor had mrs in title?? then said he and his wife seperated all the usual stories then loads of accusations at me!! so never answered now recieved a message hi im single now will you meet me??

im away to bang my head off the wall in sheer frustration!!

and no i dont care if he reads the forums maybe show him how much of a twat he is!!!

That's very true, I was married to one many years ago and her imagination was beyond compare. She had an imaginary man stalking her and threatening her with a knife, even to the point of preparing an 'e-fit' with the police and making that e-fit appear to be a bloke that I worked with ! After all came to all, the whole thing was a pack of lies which went on for 3 months and included £100's worth of damage damage to our car, house etc etc, all done by her own fair hands whilst I wasn't there and there were no witnesses, not to mention the waste of police resources !!

Oh they've got a good imagination alright - frighteningly good - thank Christ I got away while the going was good - well as good as it could be at the time

Who was talking about smilies??? I was referring to basic punctuation.

It helps to know where you are in a rant as one rant can lead quite easily into another and get blurred without the use of punctuation and then your message is totally lost as people become bored with reading one long long long mundane droll and then you get shitty replies like mine as I can understand your frustration at single guys messing you about but if you speak like you type I am not entirely fookin surprised.

so far i have been a bint because of the post even though i explained the situation and how it developed

now its because i didnt punctuate although i dont see anything in the forum rules about this?

then it was about the lack of smilies?

and in general single guys dont frustrate me as its only single guys i meet and usually i have made sure that they are single in the first place!

as i said before, and if you can really bring yourself to read the post before yous stick your boot in , you will see that i had suspicions and it was a social meet that confirmed my suspicions .

it was also the first and last time that i had been caught out.

I'm sick and tired of single guy moaning threads. And I don't think I'm alone in this. Plus it perpetuates the myth that ALL single guys are liars etc etc etc... but that's not true as we've met several single men that have been absolute gems, but the difference is: we spent a lot of time getting to know them before ever arranging to meet.

Being a little willing to give the benefit of the doubt could be a touch naive, but still not a hanging offence.

'Single' male liars have a terrible habit of instilling so much mistrust that people eventually tar them all with the same brush.

Unfortunately, as the majority on here, they are the ones who get talked about more and THEY are the ones who get ranted about the most.

The most experienced of us are taken in by the 'marrieds' and the 'liars' day after day and although we tend to grow a sixth sense about things, there will always be those that slip through our radar.

There is no need to chill OP, you stated a very valid point.

WISHY......... I'm suprised at you!!! You've been on the scene long enough to know that there is always a percentage who will try and lie and cheat their way into someone's knickers.

I've been caught out in the past and believe me, I am nobody's fool. Chalk it down to experience OP and don't worry about it.

The unfortunate side consequence of meeting a cheater, is that women who do (and men who meet women who lie and cheat) tend to be so very careful the next time that some of the good ones get away.

These types of threads are turning out to be as volitile as married men threads lately.

Either the person the Original Posters are talking about turns up on the forums and defends themselves , and I can understand that as most of you would......why would anyone want to be discussed in a negative way in public and not want to defend themselves.....or it starts an all out war anyway.

Either way, whatever comments are made, a requirement of still being able to post is to respect other users without attacking or abusing them.

Posts have been removed and if yours was but you didn't attack anyone then it was probably because you quoted someone.

It was exactly why I am trying to point it out this way.

If calling someone abint is offensive to one person, then calling someone a twat could be equally offensive to the person being called it.

For me if you are going to have one rule for all, then ALL have to not be abusive for it to work, otherwise it is double standards at its highest.

No one should be attacked on the forums, and why I have taken posts down.

If everyone has their say without any insults or attacks, then no one should apologise for anything on here........if people don't want to read the threads they don't have to, but I would also say if they want to comment on it, they can.

So it just boils down to, when getting a point across, do it without insulting anyone or abusing them.

yes posts can decend into chaos dependin on whos opinion is in favour at that time.

It was exactly why I am trying to point it out this way.

If calling someone abint is offensive to one person, then calling someone a twat could be equally offensive to the person being called it.

For me if you are going to have one rule for all, then ALL have to not be abusive for it to work, otherwise it is double standards at its highest.

No one should be attacked on the forums, and why I have taken posts down.

So it just boils down to, when getting a point across, do it without insulting anyone or abusing them.
