"I have a window bird feeder. The little birds love it and I have to fill it with seed pretty much every day. I've been sitting here watching and noticed big fat pigeons eating the seed. I've tried to rig up some string on it with gaps just wide enough for the little birds to get through but it's not putting off the pigeons. I'd make a miniature scarecrow but that might scare off the little birdies. Anyone got any ideas??!" Yes but its not PC .

"I have made a cage like structure around my bird feeder - such that the pigeons (and cats) cannot get to the seed. Might not look as 'tidy' but it surely works - and I am sure if you have more flair for presentation than me, then you can make it work for you. " My skills are wayyy below Blue Peter. I've also stuck some straws to the roof of it (don't ask!) and it looks like crap. But the little birds have been back...
