Well, its four days now. And im still poorly, and yes, I have been on the Paracetamols for a while.

Just wondering how do you swallow yours? Everyone has their own technique it would seem.

Sutton Coldfield

Dry, quite easily. Maybe wash down after if drink available.

Some people have a mental block about swallowing tablets

I find caplets (a tablet in the shape of a hard shell capsule) are a lot easier to swallow than the normal round tablets.

I swallow mine with the aid of a mouthful of fluid.

Leeds.

The dry powdery ones are awful to swallow. Much prefer the coated caplets with a sip of water.

I have to take warfarin til ma dying days and although I never take paracetamol or any other type of pain relief, I find a few sips of water usually does the trick

Warfarin tastes vile when it gets stuck halfway down

Some years ago I was in hospital for a week with a palatial abscess which burst, and the results were pretty serious. I was nil by mouth for the first few days. This meant my paracetamol had to be administered in the form of suppositories. Not really complaining - the nurse who had the task was really quite nice!

Southwick

Very rarely take Paracetamol but any tablets I do take I just swallow dry.

It seems a psychological hang-up to insist on liquid to help it down unless specifically instructed to.

Completely forgot about this post. The weirdest way i have seen so far is someone placing the paracetamols right in to the back of their throat..and then a drink of water.

...surely you dont need water if you have already pushed it down your throat with your hands.
