Do you think there is anything in Astrology ?

Does the movement of The Stars and Moon have an effect on our lives ?

What sign are you ? do you fit its profile ?

Scorpio and I do fit the profile

On the other hand you share the same sign as about 5 million other people in this country, I think it's just a numbers game

I think astrology is just another pseudo-religion. I find it hard to believe that 1/12th of the world share the same personality traits.

It's very bad science.

Im A Virgo

Virgo is the sixth sign of the zodiac, to be exact, and that's the way Virgos like it: exacting. Those born under this sign are forever the butt of jokes for being so picky and critical (and they can be), but their 'attention to detail' is for a reason: to help others. Virgos, more than any other sign, were born to serve, and it gives them great joy. They are also tailor-made for the job, since they are industrious, methodical and efficient. The sense of duty borne by these folks is considerable, and it ensures that they will always work for the greater good.

You ?

The question isn't just whether it's a load of shit, but how normally sane, rational human beings can decide on a personality type based on something so irrelevant.

I am a Pisces fishy, we are supposed to be feminine, caring , mystical and needy. Well the first two are me but bugger the last two!

I find though I attract more Libran males then any other star sign, so either they are attracted to my 'mysticism' or they are just a bloody horny bunch!

Well I don't believe in Astrology but I am quite informed on the subject.

You are referencing Sun Signs (more commonly called Star signs) and these are a very small part of astrology. Having debated this topic with many 'believers' they will tell you that a proper astrological chart is unique to time an place of birth and far more individual than sharing with 1/12 of the population.

I think the charts and symbols look very pretty though.

On a side note I do think the moon etc can impact us. E.g. I believe there is an increase in crime around full moons.

Scorpio.

Scorpios love competition in both work and play, which is why they'll air it out in sports and games. Extreme sports are right up Scorpio's alley, as is most anything that will test their mettle. They've got to have an adversary, since it makes the game that much more fun. Scorpio's colors? Powerful red and serious black. When it comes to love, though, Scorpios soften up a bit and are caring and devoted with their lovers, even if they do hold on a bit tight. Scorpios are also lusty in the extreme (how else?), so they need to be mindful of their reproductive organs.

The great strength of the Scorpio-born is in their determination, passion and motivation. Scorpios don't know the word quit, which is why they usually get the job done. A powerhouse? Like no other

Shit wish I was a Scorpio.

I'm a gemini and do fit the profile just as much as I fit the chinese profile of a dragon. I don't believe in the daily rags horoscope but do think that as far as personality types in the western astrology go there might be something in it. It might not be down to the alignment of the stars but more to weather and seasons. It's far more believable then people born in the same year sharing personality traits.

the increse in crime during full moons is because of the fact it is a lot easier to work in the light of the moon than the dark, so oportunitys arise more

I'm sure the true origin of Astrology is lost in our society, fuelled by a fear of poverty, a greed for money, and a desire for instant gratification.

Astrology acknowledges your individual existence in relation to space, time, and celestial alignment.

Astrology is just one facet for expanding your awareness of external forces.

This is unlikely to happen by reading Mystic Meg's predictions.

Regardless of whether it has any influence without even reading horoscopes etc. I think it would be a lot more enchanting if the skies were clear and dark enough to be able to see the stars properly. There would be more believers, but the more streetlights and floodlights light up the night skies, the more of us there are to brush shoulder to shoulder, the lonelier we become.

Used to have a telescope as a kid, can barely ever see the stars anymore.

Everybody has that spark in them that begs a question of ultimate design and by the time the entire race has passed, science will have failed to answer all of them.
