So what you giving up for lent. As ive not had one sweet thing all year im giving up sweet things.

I always remember reading in bob geldof's autobiography that bob told his dad he was giving up grapes as they never had them as they where really expensive, so his dad went out and bought a big bag of grapes and shared them with the rest of the family

I enjoyed it as well, long while since i read it, might fish it out. Shame there isnt a follow up one as that ended at the time of band aid

i like bob for a scruffy dude he is cool!!

has he not done a newer one?? the one i read was picked up in a book stall because they had no change and was one of the best books iv read xx

I shall look into it lol. People say oh why do you think hes so fantastic when clinton could have picked up the phone and donated the money. My response is always the same, because he got of his arse and did something about it

I'm going to give up my place in succession to the throne of England (I'm No. 32,892,411).
