I've considered this for some time, not sure I like the idea really, but, for those of you out there that have a better idea than myself, could you please tell me....

Is it quite safe?.

I've been doing it for years and have never had a problem - it's so convenient - there are good safe guards in place although nothing is ever totaly 100% safe - Z

I've been using internet banking for years. Never had any problem at all cos I can access it by phone too.

I love not having to go to the bank and queue.

I think it would be easier to hack the Kremlin.

Nothing is 100% safe. Just ensure you regularly use software that looks for key stroke loggers and do not store details on your hard drive and regularly check your account details. There is a lot of on line fraud but with care you should be fine.

No issues with my various accounts.

Be very careful with phishing fake e-mails, telling you your account security has been compromised and requesting you to reset etc...

DO NOT ever click on those links contained in such e-mails.

ALWAYS access your account via the official site.

very ound advice Pearl

i have reported a few emails that looked dodgy to my bank and a couple have been phishing ones

that said i have never had any issue with my actual online banking - just be sensible, delete cookies etc if using shared computers.

it has certainly made budgeting my money easier - now go to the bank of dad less and less

We've(or rather my other half)used internet banking for around about 12 years without any problems. Banking in your jim jams sure beats the hell out of visiting a real bank.

As others have said, just be sensible: don't fall for scam emails or send your account details to Nigerians and your Bank will never ask you for details or passwords by email (they aleady know them DOH!).

Pearl - ya beat me to it lass.

I am glad that others ARE aware of the emails that get sent - a friend of mine cot clobbered that way - and had to fight with the back (Abbey) to get money back cos it was his own fault.

I love internet banking - its easy to see whats in, set up DD's and SO's etc - and manage your account - which is not so easy to do by going into a bank.

I have used it for yaers and had no problem - but as Kitty said - hard to be robbed when ya got no money in it!!!

LOL

My cash machine tells me to FUCK OFF after about 4 days of being paid my salary, lol

Just be careful and enjoy the easiness
