whats wrong with a thanks but no thanks message???????????

why is it that some ladies are not able to just say no but have to send abusive messages. about time some of these so called ladies behaved like civilized people and stop sending abusive messages.

we are not all the same and don't deserve to be branded as so.

Seriously though there us never any need to get nasty. Just a polite no or even no Reply anda bblock is enough on here.

I've tried the whole replying to all thanks but no thanks and got abuse, called names, or asked why?!

I've put on my status that I'm not meeting / chatting to new ppl and now on my profile. 99% of the ppl that message me now haven't even bothered to read it!!

Although I don't send abusive replys I just don't reply anymore

no reply is better than abusive replies, so if in the opinion the receiver thinks no then I agree treat it as junk mail,

no excuse for abusive replies

If you're not meeting or chatting to anyone new, why do you not simply adjust your message filters and remove yourself from searches? That'll cut down messages to a trickle....

I used to answer every mail and the times I got hassle after a polite no thanks from me has lead me to not sending many replies now

Maybe I'm going mad but I read it that the op is getting nasty messages back instead of just a no thanks? Not complaining that he's not getting replies at all? It is early tho I could be wrong!!

If that's the case op just report any abusive messages and block the sender x

If I receive a message where it is clear that the sender hasn't read or has ignored my profile /preferences, then I don't send a reply. If you receive unsolicited post, do you send it back with a polite no thank you ? Make sure you meet the recipients requirements and say something to grab their attention so it doesn't look like a copy and paste message.

Also, if you think it's rude not to reply, chances are you wouldn't want to meet that person anyway.

I think people just hit standard thread reply mode without actually reading it. Funny thing is I bet they get pissed off if someone silent read their profile lol

I've done that once in the past. But the company concerned had been warned in person if they didn't take me off their mailing list they'd experience the 'other side' of my tongue (ooh er missus!). So after the sixth unwanted letter, they got it... with both barrels... worked though

As most guys complain about not getting a reply at all I would look at the messages you are sending out to see if there is anything in them that is provoking the abuse.
