December 21st = Shortest day of the year.

June 21st = longest day of the year.

March 21st = When the days become significantly longer.

September 21st = When the days become significantly shorter.

Not necessarily. Sometimes its 30 seconds more. Sometimes 30 seconds less. QI is my reference, lol
