As a Sale fan i can say this

"We might be Sale, we might be shit - but at least we're not Gloucester!"

I like the idea of the new scrum laws, making the hookers actually hook again is much better and it allows the looseheads to wreak their particular brand of havoc. I even saw Peter Stringer get pinged for not putting in straight yesterday!

Sale are being their usual frustrating self again, playing out of their skins at Kingsholm only to revert back to type on friday at home against the budgies.

So why might you not be so nice to us Irish. Shame Leinster did not win Saturday. After half time the took the foot off the gass. To early yet to say how I feel about all the changes. Great to see that hookers have to work for the ball in the scrum.

I was too - but that was because i was offended by Twelvetrees saying that he was so ashamed of losing to Sale last week he couldn't face his family

We were at sale Friday night and we played the better rugby but were shit at the last pass! New laws working well for most I think. Refs need more time to adjust

I was there too - terrible game from both teams but Sale were the worst because they had the territory, the possession and the set pieces yet couldn't stop giving away penalties! Falcons were gifted the win with stupid penalties, they never even entered the Sale 22. If they play like that against the big teams we will be in the Championship next year. No more excuses Sale

because they were up for fisticuffs and yarde punched our (beautiful) no 10 after he scored his first try but was not penalised for it.

I'd rather a TMO decision than the ref getting it wrong. Its very easy to be unsighted at a critical point so why not use the technology that is available? TV viewers often see far more than matchgoers.

You can't be crying about that it is rugby we are talking about not football.

yes but we like agression in play not unprovoked. mierez was jumping over him to avoid running into him so there was no need for handbags by Yarde

I'm not saying that I want union to be like ice hockey , but as a spedtator I quite like to watch a bit of fisty-cuffs in a game .

As for the new scrum laws my OH played yesterday and said they not perfect but they are better , but he said the front rows say it's getting more and more like a league scrum .

Freddie Burns 10 for England..class act..Farrell ponderous and unimaginative by comparison..love to see Burns behind a pack like Sarries.

I thought George Ford for Bath looked very promising yesterday, and with the young flyers in the backs England have some real class coming through now.

Ford attacks the line has a smart rugby brain..gutsy defender..hopefully he and Burns compete for England 10..both capable of really firing a promising set of backs

Ouch, felt a wee bit sorry for Wuss tonight, Quins looked frighteningly good tonight.

Wish I'd gone to the Sale game, but knowing my luck they would have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Loving the coverage on BT Sport

But Matt Dawson and the pack are getting on my nerves a bit

Also, when did the phrase "this season" become "this term" ?

They were so quick off loading the ball. We looked like a bunch of amateurs last night. Only when they were tiring did we see any real play from Worcester.

I cant see past a Quins/Saracens final at this stage, both look like a different class to the rest of the Prem.

Sale just about managed to hold off a poor Wasps side even though they did gift them a penalty try. Its Saints next week and i fear we are in for a thrashing.

The only way Quins can be made to look ordinary is when they lose half the squad to the Autumn Internationals!
