Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Why do you post in the lounge? Is it a worldwide lounge? Do you have a forum on Fab that is country specific?

It's nice having you but there aren't many of you, unless you all come out at night when I'm asleep.

Do you understand what we Brits are talking about or do you have a special translation device.

Anyhoo, welcome and keep joining in.

You're on this side of the pond. I assume the forum looks the same for you as it does for me.

You're always a welcome gobshite though. Have you commented on cronuts yet?

If you know the word gobshite and can use it in the correct context then you're British now. Welcome

Confused? Is the lounge not for everyone? Yes there is a cdn forum, it's dead.

Yes, I'm sure we are mostly here when you are all asleep. -8 hr time dif I believe give or take.

Google is my friend. I never heard the term wank, snog, etc bf here. I impress my friends by throwing them in convo. (For real lol).

Really love these forums. If I could find one similar (for over here I would be all over that). Private msg me if anyone knows of any.

Thanks for the welcome.

Thank you for answering.

I had, erroneously, assumed that the lounge was for the UK as it's populated by so many from across the UK. Although Scotland and Ireland sometimes look busy too.

Do you all have a party on here and post threads about Tim Horton's when I'm asleep? Leave a Dutchie for my breakfast please.

I've often wondered why the forums are dead in other country locations. As Fabio said perhaps he's assimilated into the 'gobshite' culture.

I'm pleased to see non-UK based posters...welcome to the forum.

I haven't found a Tim Horton's here but I have family in Canada and one of my aunts can't live without Tim Horton's coffee. I like the Tim Bits too.

Now that I know the lounge is for everyone I want to encourage more people from other countries to join in and post. That will change some of the political threads.

I come to the lounge because it's often light hearted and has such a variety of topics. MOST of the folks here are friendly and fun too. As with the Canada forum the US forum is deadsville as well. I have noticed that about 75% of fab members are from the UK. sigingin on here around 10 pm EST there may be barely 5000 people logged in...whereas during UK prime times there are often 20,000+ logged on. It seems that the site is just more popular in your part of the world is all.

We are all here to have fun and make friends right? The lounge is one of the best places to do just that.

It just makes arranging a meet that much more difficult. We'll have to arrange a Forum social across the Pond next.

I was in Canada once (been a few times) just before Christmas. It was so cold I thought I would die. I am Australian, we are warm blooded creatures you know

I do absolutely love Canada though - but in the summer. After 12 years living in the UK I still don't like the winters.

I don't like Dunkin Donuts and after the racist ad I'd have to boycott them anyway.

I don't want to make the biscuits I want them to be delivered hot, wrapped in a napkin and placed gently in a basket.

Could I just add my welcome to all the yanks and canucks - particularly the canucks since we do invade your chat room on a semi regular basis!

Apologies for the mess!

It would be nice to visit the Canadian chat room with a native host instead of invading, wouldn't it?

We've had YummyMummy in there before! She's a genuine Canuck! "

But she's over here. We've got folk from over there baring their tits on here now.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've spotted another one.

Did you all post in the wee hours of the British night so I didn't notice you?

Brighton - even Hove!

I saw him as well...the guy from North Carolina. I thought they had their own forum! And their own version of fabswingers, actually but if not, why don't more post? Even if they post in their evening, their posts would still be here for us to read.

And I can practice my Alabama accent

Our new Canadian buddy, above, indicated that those are dead and the lounge is more interesting.

First off hello.

I haven't seen many Americans chime in here so I'll pick up the slack. Then again we have more than our fair share of quirks.

I travel far too often for work and after realizing half the stuff I miss stateside, I'll throw Cheesecake Factory into the mix

Do they make a packet mix that you can take with you?

What's special about the Cheesecake Factory? Is this baked cheesecakes or the cream cheese types with a biscuity bottom?
