spending a few days in plymouth for the first time and wondered if anyone had any suggestions of places to go, good bars & restaurants etc

definitely head for the barbican area as it has pubs by the harbours edge,

if the weathers nice for you there is also a ferry that runs over to cawsands

if your into gin the gin distillery does a mean cocktail

Barbican area is good as is the Union Rooms on the corner in the city centre.

there are always plenty of coffee shops too.

Best bet would definitely be the Barbican though. xx

definitely visit Plymouth hoe(although she wasn't there when I went)

nice walk, good views etc

good place to start the barbican lots of pubs about. there are two strip clubs for later (I've been told. never been)

this barbican sounds like the place to be ..thanks guys will check it out ...think weve hit a swingers hotel ...lots of groups of 3 heading upstairs ..lucky buggers !

Ha! I've seen that at the Travelodge a lot. That and all the hen do's!

If you hit Union St tomorrow the Union Rooms will always be entertaining - and then you could always pop over the road to Reflex for some pure cheese!

Might be in UR myself tomorrow!

And going into the same room? Good sign but don't most rooms have a double + a spare bunk?
