Is it rude to stare?

I've seen some really cool tattoos lately and I wanted to have a good look but daren't.

If you have tattoos, would you be offended if a stranger looked at yours? Or said they thought your tatts were cool?

It depends on how close you are ....

They're a great talking point! Got chatting to someone the other week in a bar about our 'visible' ink - a few hours later I'd seen the ones usually hidden!!

Need to know basis

Being a newly 'inked' lady, my tattoo will be visible until winter arrives (its on the top of my foot). So far it has attracted attention and I have loved seeing people do a double take then come and chat to me about it.

The other week a little old dear came up to me st the bus stop talking and asked how many I.had and that she liked the one on my leg she was lovely but if people just stared I wouldn't like it much

I have a thing for tribal tats on guys and do tend to stare , but sometimes its a good icebreaker when mentioning them

I had someone staring at my foot tattoo once. I asked her to translate my chinese tattoo and I was very happy with what she said!!
