I hadn't heard about this story before the BBC started advertising this drama.

Anyone else interested and/or watching?

It's good so far.

I have a fascination with The Great War and the period just before it. Unions, suffrage, women doing "mens" work, psychology of war and PTSD, the rise of Nazi's and so much else comes from this period.

It was also nice to see Michael Palin back in an acting role.

I'll be looking online for the extracts from the Wipers Times.
