Too old to say...

I got told by one of the kids this week that I'm too old to say the word dude.

Are there any words you don't feel you can say because of your age?

P.S I'm not too old to say dude - however I am too old to say yolo!

I say it in text but not in voice ..My dad says it and a lot more too!

Read any of Funky Munkys posts and THAT is EXACTLY how my dad talks.

Reading his posts is surreal as hell for me.

Something my mother says to me

I say shizzle, dude, etc in a piss take way to my mates but never seriously.

I do find myself accidentally using 'toddler talk' in real life tho as I'm so used to saying things in a certain way in front of my boy. X

"guys"

As in a tea-room, would you guys like to order?

"No, but my wife and i would like two pots of tea and ...."

I later take the wretch aside and quietly point out that although said wife has a faint moustache, a guy it does not make her.

Ah the great 'bare' debate. I've still never heard anyone say it in that sense.

The Ticket Inspector at my local railway station said I am too old to say "A child single to New Brighton please" whilst he inter_iewed me in his pocket note book...
