In general (and we have heard from a lot of exceptions here already) women need a physical and emotional connection with a man while men just need to procreate. We are animals and as such have natural instincts. For the woman she needs to know that her children will have a strong blood line and intelligence in order for it to survive whereas the male of the species just needs to know more humans are born to ensure future existence. Obviously over tens of thousands of years we have matured and evolved into more sophisticated creatures but natural instincts remain...
