When you go to the gym, diet, etc. Where does the fat go to. Does it change from fat to muscle or do 100% come out when you go to the toilet? Basically I have started a new routine for training my stomach and it looks like since then. I suffer wind. Is there a way to stop this and would that the the reason for this sudden problem?

That would kill someone if it hit them.

A change in diet can cause extra gas, not sure if the change in physical activity does the same thing though. All I can say with certainty is that I was advised to exercise my dogs more to help their digestive system and reduce the mustard gas dog farts!

The fat is burned by your muscles as its stored energy.if you working your stomach muscles and abs as you muscles get fitter stronger and bigger they become more efficient squeezing more gas out .also as you reduce in size there's less room for the gas.have you changed your diet as well?

Eat a bit more bread and it varys. Sometimes its brown, white, wholemeal. Otherwise its the same.

Good diet changes with exercise will give you a lot better results. As you exercise your metabolism increases this might be a factor too.I know when I have a lapse and eat junk or processed food I don't half know about it .which just encourages me to stay away from it.

Apart from eating 50% more bread. Diet hasn't changed at all. Maybe its because over the last couple of weeks I had done more stomach exercises?

Sort of.

The simplest answer is it get's converted into energy and exits our bodies like that.

Seriously, it's a complex question to answer dude.

Bread is gernrally a processed food and not terribly good for us. try and look for a better more natural form of carbohydrate.

As humans where really only meant to eat nuts, fruit n veg and meats in the natural forms they come in.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

It may be the bread causing the problem. It does with me. That's why I eat little of it. Also fat cannot turn into muscle or vice versa. They are two totally different kinds of cells. Fat is just a means of storing energy. It gets used up when you exercise.

Are you using any supplements? There is a recovery drink popular with cyclists that is notorious for the subsequent farts it produces!
