"He said nothing to inspire confidence in his leadership or add any credibility to the labour parties’ alternative solutions for economic recovery…. " I thought Gideon had told us we already HAVE economic recovery

"He's a complete and utter waste of space. More incompetent than Neil Kinnock and Michael Foot combined." I liked Michael Foot.

"If the Labour Party had stuck to the ideals of it's founders we wouldn't need a new party. But,as ever, just like the Trade Unions, people found they could have well paid and cushy jobs. Why change the system? Just exploit it. It's working very well for them." I agree on the point but you said 'we'.. not wanting a bun fight but you don't come across as a Labour supporter..

Although what they say is one thing(in order be elected)and what they do is often the opposite.

Fair point.. used to be Labour till Blair was elected, abstaining doesn't sit well personally as its too hard won a 'right' to not participate.. bet there were folk sitting about in pre Roman times saying the same.. twas ever thus..

On form again today Onny I'm not a lover of Gideon (as you like to call him) either, but come on give a little bit of credit, if only for shutting up the obnoxious two faced pillock Balls The job he inherited from McDoom was akin to Mission Impossible 4 (or are they on to 5 now?) For me he didn't cut hard or deep enough, the so called "savage cuts" were about as severe as being slapped round the tits with a wet fish. If only we could get Maggie back with Kieth Joseph, Nigel Lawson, and Norman Tebbit alongside her then the country would get back on its feet. Imagining Onny choking on his afternoon tea after reading this post

"............... head on the radio today the most deprived areas of glasgow have been labour 'safe seats' for decades. so why do the locals keep voting them in when they do nothing for their community?" 'cos the Tories idea of 'doing something for the community' is to rip it apart.
