I love camping - and the freedom to just throw a tent in the back of the car and take off.

I also love camping at naturist sites, and being able to spend a whole week naked.

but that has it's problems because you get used to it - I once very nearly walked out of my tent in the morning, stark naked as usual, just before I remembered that I was at a biker's rally....! Hey-ho!

Yes - lovely places here in North Wales to camp - do come!

North Wales possibly a tad far on the bike unless taking a day or two to get there but doing a bit of wild woodland camping since getting a hammock and tarp rig.

Next stop is probably some of the local bushcraft moots.

first camping experience was in N.Wales in the late eighties, we woke to a terrible din, apparently Micheal Fish had said something about no hurricane, and there we were in a field behind a pub and our motorcycle was half way up the field. the tent never faltered though, so much fun has never been had since that day, but if i ever meet the Fish guy, i'll give him what for

As I understand it, camping is where you use up your preciois holiday time, leave your well insulated, centrally heated home with indoor plumbing, and pay good money to live outside in a muddy field a few feet away from other people, often so close that you can hear them breathing. You then complete your ablutions in a public block that nearly always has the detritus and smell of other peoples waste in.

Mmm let me think about this....

Lol, not us!

Our tent (well more like a hotel, its got 3 bedrooms and a lounge!) has electric (generator), gas, and telephones, plus three blow-up beds and enough seating for about 10 lol.

The bunkhouse for the Hoedown is a high-class barn conversion, and the toilets and showers in there are the same as you might have in your own home.

I think someone coined the phrase "Glamping" with us lot in mind lol!
