Better than watching paint dry? At least they don't have to stop to change tyres.

I look forward to the day when you can rent a mini one by the hour on the local park lake.

Takeley

Amazing race, yes, with hugely expensive boats ( if I can call them that ), that from the footage literally are like jetfoils that have very little surface area contact, like flying across the water. Wind powered so environmentally better than F1, for the ladies out there, rugged, bearded individuals ( other facial options are available ), very physical. There is the old joke about what's 80ft long and full of semen...answers on a postcard please!

Newcastle and Gateshead

I have been hooked and it was amazing to see these boats basically flying....

Since the winners get to choose the venue and type of boat, I would love it if they chose big orange rubber dingys! Lol

One hundred million dollars a boat, no wonder the british entry didn't make it off the drawing board, maybe with Ainslee's influence now it might take off as it were!

It's reckoned at £10m per boat ( they have a reserve ) and in news today, they reckon that some £65m would be needed to put a competitive team together.

The overlaid graphics helped the watchability.

quite, that figure includes designers, engineers, advertising, wages etc etc, lots in anyone's language. Ben's a true British hero though, if we had a few more like him this country wouldn't be in the shit state it is!!
