yes for some strange unknown reason ours just comes on for a little while in the morning again. It's as if the heating hob goblin has waved his magic wand and cackled to himself. "right it's time to start hitting everyone in the pocket again".

We don't have heating in this house. A couple of storage radiators downstairs, but they are never on.

Just put an extra jumper on, or a quilt if watching TV on the sofa. My bedroom window is still open though.

"sat here thinking i am a bit chilled but is it chilly enough for the heating or do you hold out for the first frost?? "

Got up to use the loo in the middle of the night and yelped when I brushed the towel rail and it was on. My central heating kicks on when the temperature drops beneath a certain level!

I knew it was cold, but blimey can't have heating on in September!

Not until November. Any complaints about being cold results in star jumps and a run round the block.

Don't drink tea or coffee in the evenings - it just keeps me awake and I have to be up at 6am.
