Zelmo Beaty, the former Utah Stars basketball player has shot his last hoop, he passed away aged 73 (reported in the Utah Tribune today)

Joining him on the big court in the sky are:-

Lynn DeBruin, Asociated Press Sports Journalist who has died aged just 51 (reported by ABC News)

and

Susan Fuentes, that well known Filipino songstress has died aged just 58 following a battle against colon cancer (reported in the Inquirer).

Just three of the great and the good that have shuffled off this mortal coil and journeyed on to the next life. Gone, but never forgotten R.I.P
