Are you good at complaining or do you just feel bitter about things and moan in private.

I've become quite adept at complaining as I get older. When I was younger I used to let things go through a lack of confidence.

I prefer to silently seethe and then finally blow at something quite trivial weeks or months later......as my neighbour found out recently lol.

I don't like complaining but unfortunately since becoming a single parent, I seem to have spent the last 8 years complaining to the CSA, housing benefit office etc, housing association. Its very stressful and time consuming and would much rather be doing something more fun and worthwhile

Ask your housing association if they have a welfare officer.

I have been through the same (mainly through illness) and my HA have assigned me a dedicated WO, who will do all my paperwork for me (if needed) and be a voice for you at appeals etc. x

I complain when it's needed and got the PC shop to exchange the fan I bought that wouldn't fit my computer, took two weeks of emailing and a quote from trading standards before they'd budge though

Yes if I have been wronged and if my complaining will get me somewhere. Complaining for the sake of complaining, particularly over quite trivial things is not my thing though.

Last time I complained was to my credit card company. After talking to someone first who said it would take 10 days to get my money back I asked to speak to a manager.

The very nice manager said it would be back within 2 days and it was.

I complain when I need to.

Got Talk Talk to cancel a £77 bill just last week.

Also got 4 weeks free travel from my local bus company through a complaint I made.

At first I explain, gently...

Then vociferously...

Then comes the "total silence", before I rip you a new one...!!!

I am also quick to compliment....
