Bloody telly

Just been watching a re run of last of the summer wine.

(started watching when it first began with parents and carried on )

Anyways, compo died and it was all sad and im sat there blubbing me eyes out.

How sad is that, still blarting now , but i think i put too much mustard on me ham ? honest.

I cried last time I watched it too, must be the least funny 'comedy' ever, rather have a tooth pulled than watch that.

I gotta watch those typos LOL.

Peaches, I was going to say -

If Last of the Summer Wine sets you off blubbing, don't ever watch the film 'Secrets & Lies' (Timothy Spall and Brenda Blethyn). That one had me wiping the tears away and snivelling pathetically - and I'm a man of Ice and Steel!!!

Well i thought it was a fantastic programme.

Well written and well played.

To me it was a gentle comedy and stood the test of time.

Which is more than some of the rubbish now on our screens .

And anyways, im a softy aint i.

a few yrs ago i didnt have a tv as i worked constant nightshift 6 nights a wk and lived alone so didnt really see point!!

when tv license guy came round i had to show him, no ariel on the roof and in all the rooms in the house!! i didnt even have a tv unit!! he was amazed!! xx

Yep ,,, i had that guy too ,,, came knocking at tea time ,,, after getting at least one letter a week from them ,,, he had a mooch round and was satisfied i had no goggle box he left ,, my sofa is pointed at the fireplace lol ,,, only have a sofa and an ikea chair ,,, the joys of simple living ,,, lol
