I've woken up this morning with a really sore throat and earache.. And even though my mum is not with me anymore, I can still almost hear her telling me it's my own fault.

Reason being at 1am on Friday, I was wandering around Derby with bare feet and wet hair. She always said ... Never go out with wet hair..or you will catch a chill.

Well guess that's me told then..

So what things did or does your mum say that you should listen too

My Mum always told me never to put sharp knives in the washing up water in case I cut myself. I think of her every time I wash up. I'm very lucky though because I still have both my parents.

my mum used to say wrap up warm when you go out in the cold you will get rheumatism, dont sit on the doorstep or concrete or you will get piles, not true as you get piles from costipation.

Dont sit on wooden toilet seats as you can catch crabs, which is possible but not likely.

she used to tell me off for smoking in the street she said it looked common.

No. Took them off in the car. Stopped for food but normally leave barefooted. I left xotix with bare feet last night x
