Has anyone on here had many experiences with buying items particularly off eBay from South Korea and any rough answers on how long it took to be delivered? Ordered something today to be here before the 30th September and I have no idea roughly how long it should take.

(& Yes I know I'm silly for not checking before ordering! Lol )

Delivery can vary,because of shipping times.

Some items turn up quickly as they made the next shipment.

Others have to wait till they have a container full.

It can take up to 6 weeks! If you've bought it on ebay the confirmation should say when to expect the delivery! If not, conatc the seller maybe

Bloody hope it don't take 6 weeks or I'm screwed! It got dispatched today though. They did give me a tracking number but it won't work

Carrier pigeons take a while.

But not as long as if they've sent it by donkey!

Never bought things from there but I lived there for a while and the stuff I sent home always arrived pretty quickly! Its also quite cheap to send things so if you paid a decent amount for the postage it should be sent by a faster option!

I've bought from South Korea, and have been there. It's a new economy, but their drive to be the best is quite awesome. We will see Korean brand leaders in all fields within 10 years. They have been learning fast about how to make quality goods and most pride themselves on giving the best service - it's very essential to their culture to be seen as "important" traders.

In short - if they have good feedback, then you're as safe as you are buying from the UK. Delivery may take a couple of weeks, but I've only ever had one go wrong. The quality of goods is usually excellent. It's an unusual, slightly crazy country, but they are wonderful, generous people!

Sometimes it depends on air or sea freight but 3 weeks isn't out of the ordinary.
