"I am on match and paid 25 quid a month.....waste of money so stopped paying "

Glad it wasn't just me that thought that! My mom signed me up to e harmony about 2 years ago, I was very reluctant after my experiences on dating sites. Anyway after a lot of persuasion from her, I completed the questionnaire (which I hasten to add took nearly an hour of my life that I will never get back). After completion of said questionnaire, I then received a message telling me that there were no matches for me. Iremember shouting at the screen "what, in the whole fucking world?!!!!".

Needless to say I gave up on dating sites altogether and my mom never tries to persuade me anymore!!

My parents detests dating sites and have seen me come back from dates an hour later when I lived at home after my marriage broke up laughing their heads off at what I said about the date lol

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I tried e Harmony nearly four years ago. I paid more than £60 then. Every "match" just ticked the box to say they didn't think there was any chemistry. I hadn't even had a message exchange other than my initial hello.

I gave up after 6 months.

My single best friend was friendlier.
