Hi Gang.

I read the novel my Alice Sebold a couple of years back and thought it was fantastic. The film is just about to be released and if it's a quarter as good as the book, it'll be a corker!

Stanley Tucci, brilliant actor, very watchable, liked him since he was in Murder One.

Another sexy bald gentleman for sure!

Book definitely !

Film first puts images in your head that you can't shake off when you read.

A book should always be the first ; the images and characters must be your own interpretation of what the author wants you to see. Later when you see the film you can compare casting and directing with what your own head made of things ....

I'm with you on this one Crumpet. (nice profile btw. short and sweet) It's pretty unusual for a film to match up to a book. I was extremely impressed with the Atonement film. I'd read the novel and thought it was stunning. I wasn't expecting too much from the film but ...Boy Was I Wrong!!!
