Maybe I should have said just sit-com as a generic. In fact, it's more than two as he's played the Dr Frasier Crane character in two or three other US sit-coms which have never made their way across the pond...

Kelsey Grammer has played the Frasier Crane character in the following...

Cheers

Frasier

Wings (1992 ) US sit com which did not air in the UK

Mickeys 60th Birthday (Disney - 1987)

Disneyland 35th Ann Special (Disney - 1990)

John Laroquette Show (1995) US show which did not air in the UK.

That satisfy all my critics?

And for a bonus point you can all tell me who has played the same character (in more than one series, of course) of any genre (sitcom, drama etc) on TV for the longest. Clue: It ain't Kelsey Grammer...

Just to clarify, for those who didn't realise - the spelling of "GRAMMER" was a joke.

Sigh.

Oh God and there's another bugbear - define a 'professional' - it used to imply something noteworthy, now it just means 'I have a job' it seems!

Haha just was going to say that....had to block someone today after pulling him up several times.....I couldn't make sense of any of his messages as the spelling was dire and as for punctuation and grammar...jesus wept.....I'm no genius and make mistakes but this bloke had to be illiterate....told him I wouldn't meet him in first message I sent cos he was too far away......kept messaging.....I don't know

Somewhere near Coventry

Just listening to the radio in the background and sure that I just heard Maria (whatever her surname is) mention something about the word grammar being spelt wrong.

She must be on fab during the songs.
