I haven't really had any weird excuses really. The only time I have ever been stood up properly - as in I was left sitting in a pub by myslef like a moron - was later I was told he'd had to go to hospital. To this day I don't know whether he was telling the truth or not. But the abuse I got for pulling him up on it may give a clue...

he actually text me while i was sat waiting for him at the arranged meeting place and told me there had been a change of plan he was now meeting someone else but he was free tomorrow if i wanted to re arrange

Not so much of an excuse but was out for the night with a friend....was speaking to a guy on here we met for a coffee in the morning and supposedly got on really well...we made an arrangement to meet up that night and he would bring a friend....well he never showed up...so I don't think we got on that well lol

To be fair.

I'd be ok with that if a woman did that to me.

I wouldn't meet her ..defo not, but I'd rather that than some bullshit at least it's told like it is.

Had either of you met these guys before? I ask because how would they know the other offer was better if they'd not met you yet?
