I'm exactly the same. I took a week off earlier in year just for a break. Ended up redecorating the house, put a fence up around my yard, and built a brand new dog kennel, how people prefer to stay out of work is beyond me

(before people start, I am aware that people are out of work due to fault of there own, I was only acknowledging the people who prefer benefits to work)

It's definitely hard, but the difference is its hard for those who work and want to work, people who don't and don't want to enjoy the time and socialise, shop etc and in many ways their social group are the same. Where as for those who want to work and can't they feel isolated as their social group are out working, able to spend money and not worry too much about bills.

Stick with it guys, there are lots of people like you and there will be a light at the end of the tunnel.

I think the peeps that do it 24/7 are probably from homes where it's the norm and the parents and grand parents do it. They know nothing else. I'm also looking for jobs but going quietly bonkers.

For some people, you dont miss what you never had.

In my case, personally, I'm very bitter that I'm stigmatised because of my health and the fact that I've had more than one job a year for the past 14 just to scrape up a living and that an inexperienced school leaver has a better chance than me because they got a clean slate.
